OMG! has it really been 4 days since i last wrote in here?? It has... not like its that BIG of a deal. some people go weeks even months without blogging.. i guess i got a little addicted to it! lol. Anyway heres some updates on Moi!
Sunday-went to my grandmas to visit my aunt & uncle who came in from atlanta.then went to my other grandmas and ordered food from steak n shake and had supper w/ her. it was a good day
Monday-Labor Day! I got up about 11ish..then around 2 I went w/ Steph and Heather to the mall. Steph wanted us to help her pick out a homecoming dress. So we did. Its sooo purdy! its royal blue...gorgeous! ugh i miss the days of homecoming/prom dress shopping! Neway the rest of the day i just chilled at the house..fun i know. lol.
Tuesday(yesterday)-didn't have class so i slept in and then got up and worked on some homework...boring! I got most of it done..then last night I had to read a few chapters in my speech book cause we were going to have a quiz over it.. lol.
Today... got to school late again..but i wasn't tardy! thank goodness! the quiz in speech was easy.. i think i made a 90.. so i only missed one! =) The teacher told us that we're going to do our 1st speech on Sept 24,25,26... that sucks b/c me and Steph were suppose to go w/ Heather to the beach the weekend before and we wouldn't back until Monday.. hmm.. maybe i can work something out. In history we took notes.. usual stuff..lol. in Gender Studies.. took notes... and then we found out about a speech we have to do.. ugh not another project! idk when its due but i'm doing mine on "Gender roles in movies".. at least i think thats what its called.. that should be interesting...ha. I found out that I didn't do so good on my first homework assignment but thats ok.. i'll try to do better on the next assignment. lol. thennn in Human Growth and Dev. we took notes or actually just listened to the teacher lecture...(she gave us a copy of the notes like last week).. we have a mini project for that class due next Wednesday and its suppose to be on a genetic disease and i decided i'm going to do "hemophilia". I think i'm going to go ahead and get through w/ it by the end of this week so i won't feel rushed to do it next week.
ohh before i forget.. Steve was looking in the paper and they were advertising some dogs at the animal shelter who need homes and one of the puppies looks exactly like Dasiy! We think she may be Daisy's sister... So Steve and Becca went up there to see her and she was already adopted..=( well at least she got a home! I just thought it was really neat!! lol.
My moms having surgery tomorrow.. its onto serious or anything.. just ankle surgery... she said shes not nervous or anything..just ready to get it out of the way! I don't have classes tomorrow and i would go up to the hospital in the morning but she told me to just sleep in if i wanted and i could come in the afternoon to see her.
